Voice of Displacement

Displaced Cameroonian singer on the ‘power of our voice’

Cameroonian singer, Ngozi Ayuk, who was forced to flee her country due to political unrest, shares her thoughts on the importance of using our voices for positive change.

“In times of crisis, when our voices are being silenced, it is more important than ever to speak up and speak out,” Ayuk says. “Our voices have the power to inspire, to unify, and to create change.”

Despite the challenges she faced as a displaced person, Ayuk remains hopeful and determined to continue sharing her music and message with the world. “Music is a universal language that transcends borders and brings people together,” she adds. “Through our voices, we can bring about healing and hope.”

As she continues her journey as a musician and activist, Ayuk hopes to inspire others to use their voices for good. “No matter where we come from or what obstacles we face, we all have the power to make a difference,” she affirms. “Together, we can create a brighter future for all.”
