Norway king flies home after Malaysia hospital stay
Norway’s King Harald V has flown back to his home country after a brief hospital stay in Malaysia. The 84-year-old monarch was hospitalized in Malaysia on Monday due to dizziness and fatigue, but his condition has since improved.
King Harald was on a private visit to Malaysia when he fell ill and was admitted to a hospital in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. He was kept under observation for a few days before being discharged and deemed fit to travel back to Norway.
The king’s office released a statement thanking the hospital staff for their care and treatment, as well as expressing gratitude for the well-wishes from the people of Malaysia and Norway.
King Harald has been the reigning monarch of Norway since 1991 and is known for his dedication to his royal duties. Despite his health scare, he remains committed to serving his country and fulfilling his responsibilities as king.
We wish King Harald a swift recovery and continued good health as he returns home to Norway.
